Felipe Bahamondez

Felipe Bahamondez is partner of Bahamondez, Alvarez & Zegers Ltda. since 2000.

Mr. Bahamondez was born in Santiago, Chile, in 1963. He studied Law at the School of Law of the Universidad de Chile, receiving the degree of Licenciado en Derecho summa cum laude in 1988 and being admitted to the Chilean Bar in 1991. Mr. Bahamondez also obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Harvard University Law School in 1993.

In his career, Mr. Bahamondez worked with Cariola Diez Pérez-Cotapos y Cía. Ltda., Santiago, Chile (1994-2000) and with the Interamerican Development Bank in Washington D.C., USA (1993-1994). He also is Professor of Corporate and Securities Law at the School of Law of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile since 2000 and is the Director of the Master of Corporate Law at the same Law School.

Mr. Bahamondez practice area focus are Energy Law and Corporate Law, mainly Project Finance, Debt Restructuring, Mergers and Acquisitions, Capital Markets and Gas.

Mr. Bahamondez is member of the Colegio de Abogados de Chile A.G. (Chilean Bar Association), the Inter American Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Internacional Bar Association.
